Description
Bring up Linux/Windows kernels on cutting-edge CPU platforms. Develop low-level drivers and optimize system performance. 1. Bring up OS kernels (Linux, Windows, or RTOS) on next-gen CPU platforms. 2. Develop and maintain low-level drivers, bootloaders, and board support packages. 3. Debug and resolve kernel-level issues during pre-silicon and post-silicon validation. 4. Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure smooth integration. 5. Optimize OS stack for power, performance, and reliability. 1. Strong experience in kernel development and OS internals. 2. Proficiency in C/C++, assembly, and scripting languages. 3. Hands-on experience with device drivers, memory management, and interrupt handling. 4. Familiarity with CPU architecture, virtualization, and multi-core systems. 5. Experience with silicon bring-up, JTAG, and debug tools. 1. Exposure to RISC-V or ARM architectures. 2. Knowledge of secure boot flows and power management integration. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
