Overview
Toddler teachers are responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences for children ages 18-30 months that advance their intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree or qualify for the Child Development Teacher Permit with minimum 12 units in Early Childhood Education including 3 units of Infant/Toddler course. The role requires physical abilities including frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, crouching, crawling, and changing diapers. Teachers must have strong communication skills and be fluent in English.

Employment Type: Full-time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
All applicants must have a clear understanding of an emergent curriculum as well as the ability to adapt to the needs of each individual child. Teachers must have experience working with children 18 to 30 months, and the ability to meet all children's needs. Must enjoy working in a team setting as well as the ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time. Punctual and dependable.
- Toddler teachers must hold a Bachelor's Degree or qualify for the Child Development Teacher Permit; and have a minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education with 3 units of Infant/Toddler course. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Toddler teachers are responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences for children ages 18 months to 30 months, that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children within a safe and healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Toddler teachers must consistently participate in direct interaction with children, serve as faculty for professional development activities and community-based events, and be responsible for the items listed below and any others as assigned by members of the Administration.
- Teachers report to members of Administration and Administrative Support Staff , as directed throughout the policies of this job description.

- 12 ECE units (B.A. or B.S. Preferred).
- 3 ECE units of Infant/Toddler
- 1 Year Classroom Teaching Experience.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must have the ability to bend, stand, and sit for extended periods of time.
