Job Title: EVS Floor Care Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Night – 10:30 pm – 7:00 am with every other weekend commitment

Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA

Position Purpose:

The Environmental Service Associate promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors for the hospital's Environmental Services Department.

As an “EVS Floor Care Technician” you will:

• Promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors.

• Demonstrates knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools.

• Performs all cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.

• Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating conditions.

• Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.

• Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors.

• The Floor Tech is required to work every other weekend and every other major holiday.

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalency (preferred)
