Department Overview
The Computer-Aided Dispatch Center, a crucial component of cutting-edge group communication solutions, is chiefly responsible for effective dispatching. The responsibility of developing integrated dispatch solutions lies with the Astro Console Team, known for their Dispatch and Content Logging abilities. Their principal function involves facilitating audio communication between dispatchers and radio users within the public safety sector. This includes a diverse group of professionals, such as 911 call handlers, firefighters, police, military - essentially wherever real-time, reliable, secure communication is a priority. In addition, to elevate operator performance and efficiency, an array of features are available such as call logging, instant recording, and text communication.
Our cross-functional Astro Console team, based in Cracow, is a global ensemble of 100 dedicated professionals including software engineers, testers, scrum masters, and product owners striving to deliver the best solutions.

Job Description
The Dispatch and Logging team is looking for specialists eager to develop mission-critical products. As a part of a cross-functional Product Team you will actively participate in the end-to-end development process. We expect the candidate to implement various CI/SCM/DevOps tasks. We are looking for a person to be open, passionate and with a strong focus on learning new things. You will be part of a team which is creating a console product for the modern dispatcher.
What will you be doing?
Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to handle builds, automated testing, and deployments.
Design and manage ephemeral build environments using AWS, ensuring our Jenkins agent pool scales dynamically based on demand to optimize performance and cost.
Manage the release promotion process, ensuring high-quality artifacts move seamlessly from Bitbucket to Artifactory and into production.
Implement and manage automated security scanning and compliance checks within the pipeline.
Administer and scale our CI/CD infrastructure and SCM repositories via Infrastructure as Code.
Act as the bridge between development and operations, working closely with Scrum teams in Cracow and globally.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation following the 'Documentation-as-Code' approach.
Leverage AI agents to automate repetitive operational tasks.
Basic Requirements
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitHub Actions).
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts, including Shift-Left security, continuous integration and automated testing strategies.
Experience with Python or other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Groovy).
Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform or similar).
Experience with Version Control Systems and SCM tools, specifically the Atlassian stack (Bitbucket, Jira).
Practical OS knowledge, from both user and administrator perspectives (Linux or Windows).
Strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical approach to tasks and problems.
English language skills at a level allowing efficient daily communication.
Will be a plus:
Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Practical knowledge of AWS core services.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of Observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols and network services.
Degree in computer science, telecommunications, automatics, robotics field or similar.
