【主な職務内容】
1. プロジェクトの統括と戦略的リード

• エンド・ツー・エンドの管理: OEM/OES向けのコンポーネントおよびシステム開発プロジェクトのスコープ定義から量産準備、最終ローンチまでを総合的にリードします。
• 収益性とクオリティの最大化: プロジェクトのKPI（製品・開発の採算性、投資回収、拡張マージン、品質目標）の達成に責任を持ちます。
• 予算・リソース管理: プロジェクト予算の策定・管理、および必要なリソースの確保と最適配置を行います。

2. 顧客エンゲージメントとビジネス拡大

• パートナーシップの構築: 国内外の自動車メーカー（顧客）の中央・ローカル双方の窓口として、強固な信頼関係を構築・維持します。
• 技術提案と受注獲得: 必要に応じてコンセプトコンペティションを主導し、新規顧客オーダーの獲得に向けた提案活動を行います。

3. グローバル＆クロスファンクショナルなチームマネジメント

• 機能的リーダーシップ: プロジェクトチームメンバー（PTM）の機能的なリーダーとして、目標設定、評価、育成（AAIのリード）を行い、チームのパフォーマンスを最大化します。
• 課題解決とエスカレーション: 開発上の課題やギャップを早期に検知し、関連部門と連携しながら迅速に解決へ導きます。また、必要に応じて経営陣への迅速なエスカレーションを行います。

4. ガバナンスと社内プロセスの推進

• Design to Cost（原価企画）などの手法を活用し、コスト最適化を徹底します。
• 社内コミッティ（PSC/PMC等）への進捗報告、および各種承認手続き（CAA/IAR等）のプロセスを主導します。
• Valeoの価値観、文化、コンプライアンス（倫理規定、HSE：安全衛生・環境要件）をチーム内に浸透させ、実践します。

5. プロジェクトの詳細

• 顧客：日本のOEM
• 対象製品：スマートフロントカメラ（視覚ベースの先進運転支援システム:ADAS）。将来的には他製品への拡大の可能性あり。
• 開発フェーズ：
  - 2019年より量産中。顧客のグローバル市場へ継続的に展開中（出荷量の拡大フェーズ）。
  - 生産モデルにおける、ソフトウェアおよびハードウェアの継続的な適合・変更（不具合修正、ハードウェアの供給不足対策、ハードウェアのコスト最適化など）。
• グローバル拠点：
  - 日本にフロントオフィス（顧客窓口）を構え、開発拠点はドイツ、フランス、インド、中国など複数の時差にわたり展開。そのため、柔軟な勤務体系（フレキシブルな労働時間）が必要。
• 主な業務内容：
  - ヴァレオ・ジャパンと、日本のOEM（顧客）との間のメインインターフェースとしての対応。
  - 日本語による顧客との日々のプロジェクト調整・進捗合わせ。
  - 地域をまたぐ機能横断プロジェクトチームを、日々自律的に統括・リード。
  - 社内マネジメント層への日次・週次のプロジェクト状況レポート。
  - 顧客の要求変更に基づくチェンジマネジメント、および見積書の定義と作成。
  - 社内の管理システムに基づいた、プロジェクトリソース、プロジェクトマイルストーン、および財務KPIの定義と管理。

【必須要件】

• 自動車業界（Tier 1サプライヤーまたはOEM）におけるプロジェクトマネジメントの実務経験5年以上
• ASPICE開発フレームワークに詳しいこと
• 車載ECUの知識や経験があること
• ビジネスレベルの英語力（プロジェクトチームが日本・中国・インド・ヨーロッパにまたがるため）
• ビジネス上級レベルの日本語力（クライアントコミュニケーション）
• 高いコミュニケーション能力と、多様なステークホルダーを巻き込むリーダーシップ

【歓迎要件】

• Valeoの社内プロセス（P1/P2プロジェクト、CAA/IAR、Design to Costなど）に関する知見、または類似の自動車業界標準プロセスへの深い理解
• クロスボーダー（多国籍）なチームをリードした経験

【Division and Products】
Valeo Japan is composed of four divisions:

　１）Power Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.

　２）Brain Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and reimagine interior experiences.

　３）Light Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions for lighting everywhere.

　４）Valeo Service Division ： Provides after-sales services for all products from Divisions 1～3.

This position is within the Brain Division.

【Key Responsibilities】
1. Project Governance & Strategic Leadership

• End-to-End Project Management: Lead the entire lifecycle of OEM/OES component and system development projects, from scope definition and production preparation to final launch.
• Profitability & Quality Maximization: Take full accountability for achieving project KPIs, including product/development profitability, Development Activity Payback, Extended Margin, and quality targets.
• Budget & Resource Management: Define and manage project budgets (including sub-projects within the system) and secure/optimize necessary project resources.

2. Customer Engagement & Business Growth

• Relationship Management: Act as the primary interface for both local and central teams of global/domestic OEMs, building and maintaining strong, trust-based partnerships.
• Technical Proposals & Order Acquisition: Lead concept competitions on a case-by-case basis to secure new customer orders and business opportunities.

3. Global & Cross-Functional Team Management

• Functional Leadership: Serve as the functional leader for Project Team Members (PTMs)?setting project objectives, conducting performance appraisals, and driving competency development (AAI).
• Issue Resolution & Escalation: Proactively identify gaps against targets, resolve cross-functional development challenges, and utilize the project escalation path with speed and anticipation when management support is required.

4. Process Excellence & Governance

• Cost Optimization: Rigorously apply "Design to Cost" methodologies to meet and exceed financial targets.
• Committee & Milestone Readiness: Prepare decision-making materials for governance stages (PSC, PMC, etc.), challenge team readiness, and submit critical project approvals (CAA, IAR) at the project/system level.
• Compliance & Corporate Culture: Promote and ensure compliance with company values, methodology standards, Code of Ethics, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements within the team.

5. Project Details

• Customer: Japanese OEM
• Product: Smart Front Camera (vision based ADAS), potentially extending to other products
• Level of development: 
  - In production since 2019, continuous roll-out to customer global markets (volume extensions)
  - Continuous software and hardware adaptations in production models (bug fixes, hardware supply shortage countermeasures, hardware cost optimizations etc.)
• Global footprint: 
  - Front office in Japan, development locations in Germany / France / India / China etc. across several time zones → flexible working hours required
• Tasks: 
  - Act as the main interface between Valeo Japan and the Japanese OEM
  - Daily project alignments with customer in Japanese
  - Lead functional cross-regional project team independently on a daily basis
  - Daily / weekly project status reporting to internal management
  - Change management based on updated customer requirements → define and prepare quotations
  - Define and control project resources, project milestones and financial KPIs based on Valeo internal management system

【Required Qualifications】

• At least 5 years of practical experience in project management within the automotive industry (Tier 1 supplier or OEM)
• Familiarity with the ASPICE development framework
• Knowledge of and experience with in-vehicle ECUs
• Business-level English proficiency (as the project team spans Japan, China, India, and Europe)
• Advanced business-level Japanese proficiency (for client communication)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and engage diverse stakeholders

【Preferred Qualifications】

• Familiarity with specific automotive development frameworks and gate-review processes (e.g., P1/P2 project phases, CAA/IAR approvals, Design to Cost), or deep understanding of equivalent industry standards.
• Experience leading cross-border or multicultural teams.
