POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting and Consolidation will be responsible for assisting the Director, Consolidation & Member Comp Accounting, with financial analysis, including but not limited to Worldwide Consolidation and Analysis, Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, OneStream, and Government Surveys. This role will assist the Consolidations team and perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing functions for Corporate entities, such as preparation of journal entries and account analyses/reconciliations, perform consolidation functions such as preparation of consolidation schedules, analyses and entries, assist in quarterly/annual financial reporting on 10-Q/10-K and assist in preparation of government surveys.
Your work will directly feed into the company's public filings, meaning the quality of your analysis will be seen and trusted by investors, regulators, and leadership alike.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
In this role, you will be a trusted partner across the organization, with your fingerprints on the financial story the company tells. You will have the opportunity to work with sophisticated financial systems and cross-functional teams, building expertise that is highly valued across the industry.
- Prepare various consolidation analyses and consolidation entries
- Perform financial statement analysis for Corporate entities
- Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliation and account reconciliations/analyses for Corporate entities
- Respond to ad-hoc financial data requests and serve as the primary point of contact for such analysis/requests.
- Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley controls are being properly performed within the areas of responsibility
- Prepare various schedules for SEC filings – 10Q and 10K
- Perform various government financial surveys
- Assist in various projects such as system implementations, new accounting pronouncements, etc
- Prepare debt covenant calculations
- Assist in audit inquiries from both external and internal auditors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Solid computer skills and expert level knowledge in all MS Office applications, particularly in Excel, including the ability to perform pivot tables, VLOOKUP and high-level functions and formulas
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management
- Solid project management skills
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and self-motivated with the ability to properly prioritize
- Strong skill set utilizing database-reporting software (i.e., Onestream, Hyperion)
- Solid proficiencies utilizing large Enterprise Resource Planning and large accounting software (i.e., Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP)
- Mindset and aptitude for process improvement
- Ability to analyze process flow and find opportunities to streamline or create efficiencies
- Fast learner capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast-paced, fast-growing environment
Experience:
- 5 years corporate or public accounting experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
