Senior Scrum Master Consultant

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join our consultancy mission at a client site in Brussels. In this role, you will drive delivery flow, team health, and Agile discipline for one or more squads, ensuring predictable delivery in a regulated, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Facilitation — Lead sprint ceremonies, remove impediments, and protect team focus.
• Team Leadership — Coach squads on Agile/Scrum; sustain and mature an existing team structure.
• Delivery Flow — Monitor velocity, flow, and risks; uphold Definition of Done and quality standards.
• Jira Governance — Structure initiatives, epics, releases, and dashboards; ensure clear reporting.
• Scrum-of-Scrums — Represent the squad, coordinate dependencies, and drive consistent programme-level reporting.

Required Skills:

• Deep mastery of Agile/Scrum in multi-team environments.
• Strong team leadership & coaching capability.
• Hands-on Jira structuring (initiatives, features, releases, workflows).
• Delivery predictability: flow, velocity, Definition-of-Done.
• Impediment removal & stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to take over an existing squad and ensure continuity.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years as Scrum Master, including experience leading demanding squads.
• Proven experience coaching other Scrum Masters.
• Strong command of Scrum-of-Scrums or similar scaling practices.
• Languages: Dutch + English or French + English (hard requirement).
• Autonomous, delivery-focused, comfortable in mission-critical environments.

Nice to Have:

• Agile certifications (PSM, CSM).
• Experience with SAFe.
• Jira Advanced Roadmaps / Plans.
• Experience with AI-assisted delivery workflows.

Environment & Engagement:

As a consultant with Keystone Solutions, you will work in the Belgian notarial domain, engaging with ±50 bounded-context services and multi-squad Agile delivery. This position requires on-site presence in Brussels several days a week during ramp-up, followed by a minimum of 2 fixed days per week. You will be embedded in Centralis squads with an Agile/Scrum cadence, providing you with dynamic projects and turbo-charged learning opportunities.
