Job Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and assets to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role supports seasonal opening and closing activities, preventive maintenance programs, and sustainability initiatives while maintaining compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards.

 

The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: November/December 2026 - March 2027Pay: $22.00/hour - $23.00/hourSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on facilities and equipment.
  • Complete and document preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS and work order logs.
  • Safely use appropriate tools and materials for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and cooperative work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision; occasional overtime or night shifts required.
  • Adhere to all safety and sustainability programs.

Qualifications

General Maintenance Technician II

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to changing procedures.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA safety regulations.
  • Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.

General Maintenance Technician I

  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changing procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and professional curiosity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA safety regulations.
  • Ability to mentor and train junior staff.

Physical Requirements include:

  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevations above 6,000 ft.
  • Walk up to 0.5 miles over uneven terrain; climb stairs and ladders.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs; perform heavy labor outdoors in varying weather.
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
