Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

As Customer Support Applications Engineer (CAE) providing Technical Consulting and Design Support for Infineon High Voltage Power Solutions based on Infineon High Voltage Power Discrete/Module products and Industrial MCU related products to Infineon customers.

In your new role you will:

• Provide technical consulting for Infineon High Voltage Power Solutions based on Infineon High Voltage Power Discrete/Module products and Industrial MCU related products to Infineon customers
• Help customers debug/develop applications using Infineon products
• Work cross functionally with Marketing, HW/SW development, and chip/solution design teams in supporting customers, collect IP/product/application requirements in the related area, by communicating with customers and internal teams
• Support and create product easy-of-use collaterals (e.g. ref. design, knowledge articles, application notes)
• Prepare and deliver product/application training to peers and end customers
• Focus on innovative, scalable methods to make customers self-sufficient

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Solid knowledge of embedded systems and focus industrial MCU/DSP related semiconductor products.
• Experience in C/C++ and Python programming Language.
• Good experience with ARM processor Architecture.
• Experience in firmware development environment such as Eclipse IDE, VS code IDE, etc.
• Experience with the GNU software development tool chain, includinggcc, binutils and gnumake.
• Familiar with various debugging techniques and experience in using debugging tool.
• Be familiar with embedded system hardware and software development including simulation, schematic, PCB layout, and debug & build, strong problem-solving skills from system level
• Be familiar with topologies widely used in AC/DC, DC/DC and DC/AC,i.e. bridge/bridgeless PFC, LLC, CLLC, DAB, Full Bridge, HERIC,NPC/NPC2, B6 and so on.
• Customer-orientated mindset, great interest in interacting with various customer engineers
• Interest and ability to learn new technologies very quickly
• Good communications skills, both written and verbal in English and Mandarin
