KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for Senior Tax Associate with the following core duties and responsibilities.

• Support annual tax projects, including China transfer pricing related, corporate tax filing related.
• Support China tax enquiries.
• Support annual repatriation plan.
• Cross region tax projects on request basis, to balance the compliance requirements and business needs.
• Performance of quarterly reporting package review for APAC regions when required, including TP adjustment, tax provision, defer tax calculation and tax recon.
• Other projects to be assigned based on actual needs.
• Advising internal business units and compliance functions on all aspects of the business operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 4 year working experience with college degree.  At least 3-year tax experience with tax firms.  Big 4 preferred.
• Be creative and open to AI tools.
• Result-driven, self-motivated, fast learner with excellent eye for detail and ability to work independently and proactively.
• Has the ability to create, multitask, and be flexible to multiple requests in a time sensitive manner.
• Openness to learning and looking for ways to improve.
• Comfortable with reaching out to others and working with different levels and parts of an organization.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of ownership.
• Proficient in S4 HANA/ and MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
