Sentara is hiring a Central Sterile Service Technician II at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Shift: Second Shift 3p-11p M-F
Job Description
The Central Sterile Services Technician II is responsible for decontamination, assembly, sterilization and storing of surgical instruments. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a sterile environment within the hospital, supporting the safety and well-being of both patients and healthcare professionals.
Education
- HSD/GED REQUIRED
Certification/Licensure
- Sterile Processing Certification preferred
Experience
- 1 year Prior CSS, sterilization, or central sterile processing experience REQUIRED
