Description
The Sign Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of Panther Premier Print's sign and vehicle graphics department. This role oversees a team of 2–4 production employees, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to Panther's quality standards. The position combines hands-on production leadership with scheduling, workflow management, and operational accountability.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 2–4 sign production and installation staff.
- Schedule and coordinate daily production, vehicle graphic installations, and field installation crews.
- Monitor production timelines and adjust workloads to meet customer deadlines.
- Track job costing, labor hours, and production time to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained for flatbed printing, roll-to-roll graphics, vehicle wraps, signage, and finishing.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and installation logistics to maximize productivity.
- Promote cross-training, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the department.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure smooth project execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising sign production, wide-format printing, vehicle graphics, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflow management, and job costing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with vehicle wraps, sign fabrication, and installation coordination is highly preferred.
