Job Summary**
NPA Zimbabwe is seeking a highly motivated Logistics Intern to support our logistics operations, gaining hands-on experience in supply chain management.
Job Responsibilities**
Specific duties
- Logistics & Distribution
- Assist in supporting, planning and coordinating of deliveries of program materials, supplies, and equipment to field site.
- Assist in preparation and tracking of distribution lists, waybills, goods dispatched notes, delivery notes etc.
- Assist with monitoring deliveries and distributions to the requestors including entries in the NPA ERP system.
- Procurement Support
- Assist with sourcing quotations from vendors and compiling comparison sheets/ quote summaries.
- Help prepare purchase requisitions, POs, and track order status.
- Assisting in preparing the complete procurement files and filling of documents.
- Ensure procurement follows donor guidelines and NPA procurement policy/ manual.
- Stores & Inventory Management
- Assist in receiving goods, inspection, and proper storage in the warehouse/ stores.
- Maintain bin cards, stock cards, and update inventory records and in the ERP system.
- Participate in monthly/quarterly physical stock counts and cycle counts including spot checks.
- Ensure proper stock rotation, labelling, and stores housekeeping.
- Fleet Management
- Assist with vehicle scheduling for field trips, deliveries, and staff movements.
- Maintain fleet movement logs, fuel records, and trip reports.
- Support vehicle checks and coordinate with service providers for maintenance.
-Track vehicle availability and report breakdowns or accidents.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Update logistics trackers and dashboards on procurement, stock levels, document filling (including on SharePoint) and deliveries.
- Help compile monthly logistics reports for the supervisors.
- Ensure all documentation meets compliance, audit, and NPA standards.

Job Qualifications**
* Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Academic letter from a recognized tertiary institution.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
