Laboratory Technician - Sittingbourne
ALS Laboratories are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support their Microbiology department at ALS Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be testing a diverse range of finished food products and associated ingredients using a variety of analytical techniques.
This role requires someone who has a meticulous eye for detail and can follow processes and procedures.

The Role
Days Per Week: 4 on 4off (9am to 9pm)
Contract: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: £26,867 + £2000 location allowance per annum

The Day to Day
To perform analysis allocated in accordance with documented methodology
Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment
Ensure your workstation is always clean and tidy.
To conform with all site Quality Management systems and Health and safety procedures and protocols.
To keep accurate records.
The Essentials
Previous laboratory experience is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to read, understand and implement instructions accurately is vital.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Keen eye for detail
Possess excellent time management skills.
