Description
Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English (ESL) Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our client in Hoover, AL.
Job Information:
Ref. # 166938/199144
- Students: Two siblings, aged 5 and 8, taking separate, back-to-back classes
- Location: Lessons are to be held at the students' home in Hoover, AL 35226 (near Heritage Preschool of Ross Bridge on 2700 Ross Bridge Pkwy)
- Availability: Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 9:30 AM or 10:00 AM
- Lesson Frequency and Duration: Once per week, 1 hour per child
- Current English level: To be assessed - they understand and speak English, but not fluently
- Native language: German
- Students' language needs and goals: Improving their language skills; support for school
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English
- Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years' teaching experience
