## What you’ll do:
The Manufacturing Engineering & Industrialization Manager will build and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers to drive operational excellence across Eaton’s Vantaa manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for developing and deploying advanced manufacturing systems, optimizing processes and increasing technical capacity, lead new product introductions (NPI) through the Industrialization process - including transfer projects (STP).
The function will be responsable for the health of manufacturing data, including Bills of Material, routings, Standard Operating Procedures and other Manufacturing related data.

The ideal candidate will foster a culture of problem-solving, teamwork, and continuous improvement, while actively contributing to site-wide strategy and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Manufacturing Engineering Function
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing engineering team.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build organizational capability through talent development and succession planning.
Drive Industrialisation and NPI
- Lead new product introductions (NPI) and strategic transfer projects (STP) using Eaton's ProLaunch framework.
- Develop robust, scalable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations to deliver successful product launches.
- Deliver Operational Excellence
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
- Lead problem-solving and root-cause analysis activities.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 practices to improve performance.
Own Manufacturing Data and Technology
- Ensure the integrity and governance of manufacturing data, including BOMs, routings, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Lead manufacturing technology, automation, and digitalisation initiatives.
- Manage capital projects, equipment investments, and capacity expansion plans.
- Safety, Quality and Site Leadership
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Contribute as a key member of the plant leadership team.
- Collaborate across functions to support business growth and operational objectives.
## Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Strong experience in manufacturing engineering
- People leadership experience.
Preferred
- Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, PPAP, and controlled manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Experience working in a global manufacturing environment.
