Tax Advisory Senior Associate

What you will be doing 

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Manage the assigned client portfolio, monitor effectiveness of the project team; 

• Develop tax solutions and provide comprehensive and effective tax advisory services to our top-tier clients; 

• Advise clients from different industries on various tax related issues and participate in tax due diligence projects, tax restructuring work and tax review. 

• Assist clients during audits conducted by the tax authorities; 

• Support the management team in identifying new business opportunities and developing and marketing new products and service offerings; 

• Carry out technical research on specific tax matters, prepare concise and accurate proposals, and draft tax memos; 

• Coach and manage the less experienced team members and review their work; 

• Write articles, prepare and update internal publications; 

What we are looking for: 

• A graduate degree with a major in Tax, Finance & Accounting, Economics, or Law (Master's degree will be considered a strong asset); 

• 3+ years of experience in tax consulting, preferably in a consulting or law firm; 

• Excellent knowledge of the Albanian tax legislation and the rules of international taxation; 

• Excellent business writing skills and communication skills, in English and Albanian; 

• Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs and a tech enthusiast; 

• Strong analytical and problem structuring skills; 

• Willingness to undertake new and challenging tasks and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; 

• Strong leadership, communication, team working skills and motivation for personal development;
