The UPLIZNA gMG HCP Marketing Manager will play a critical role in accelerating adoption of UPLIZNA by leading strategic healthcare professional (HCP) marketing initiatives that educate customers, strengthen brand differentiation, and support best-in-class field execution. Working across a highly matrixed organization, this individual will partner with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, Global Marketing, Market Research, and other cross-functional teams to deliver innovative marketing strategies and promotional resources that position UPLIZNA for sustained growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategic HCP marketing initiatives that accelerate adoption and continued growth of UPLIZNA in gMG.
- Develop high-impact promotional resources across personal and non-personal channels, including visual aids, leave-behinds, digital assets, rep-triggered emails, video content, peer-to-peer materials, and congress resources.
- Partner closely with Sales Training to develop field training, National Sales Meeting content, POA materials, and execution plans that enable exceptional customer engagement.
- Contribute to annual brand planning by translating customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics into actionable marketing strategies and tactical plans.
- Continuously evaluate marketplace trends, customer feedback, and field insights to optimize promotional strategy and identify future growth opportunities.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Medical Marketing, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access, Global Marketing, Market Research, Sales, Training, Digital, and other cross-functional partners to successfully execute commercial initiatives.
- Lead materials through the Material Approval and Compliance (MAC) review process, partnering with Regulatory, Legal, Medical, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely approval and high-quality promotional execution
- Effectively manage multiple agency partners, project timelines, budgets, and competing priorities while delivering high-quality execution.
- Support onboarding and development of new team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Live and role model Amgen Values while fostering an inclusive, engaging, and high-performing environment across the UPLIZNA Brand Team and cross-functional partners.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare commercial experience.
- Strong marketing competencies, including brand strategy, customer segmentation, insight generation, campaign development, omnichannel engagement, and tactical execution.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead highly matrixed cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive influence skills.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and project management capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, customer-focused marketing strategies.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Neurology and/or rare disease experience.
- HCP marketing experience.
- Product launch and/or growth brand experience.
