Green Coyote Cantina is bringing honest Tex-Mex, handcrafted margaritas, and genuine hospitality to The Dale in Avondale Estates, and we're building an incredible team to help launch our newest location. At Green Coyote, we believe hospitality starts with our team. We're looking for energetic, dependable, and hospitality-driven Server Assistants who enjoy staying busy, supporting their teammates, and creating exceptional guest experiences. As a Server Assistant, you'll play one of the most important support roles in the restaurant. Your ability to anticipate guest needs, assist the service team, maintain an organized dining room, and support takeout operations directly contributes to the exceptional experience our guests expect.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist servers by pre-bussing and bussing tables throughout service
• Deliver food promptly and accurately to guests
• Seat guests and assist in maintaining efficient table rotation
• Assist guests with requests while providing friendly, attentive hospitality
• Reset tables quickly and efficiently to support smooth restaurant operations
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room
• Support takeout operations throughout the shift as business needs require
• Answer questions from takeout guests and assist with order pickups
• Accurately package takeout orders, ensuring all food items, guest modifications, sauces, condiments, utensils, beverages, and desserts are included before orders leave the restaurant
• Verify completed takeout orders for quality, accuracy, and presentation prior to guest or delivery driver pickup
• Coordinate completed takeout orders with guests and third-party delivery drivers to ensure timely and accurate handoff
• Assist with entering takeout orders into the POS system when assigned or when additional support is needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked takeout pickup area
• Work closely with servers, bartenders, managers, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow
• Complete opening, running, and closing responsibilities
• Support the overall success of the Front of House team by assisting wherever needed to create an exceptional guest experience

Guest Experience Standards

Our Server Assistants are much more than table bussers—they help create a seamless experience for both our dine-in and takeout guests.

Team members are expected to:

• Anticipate guest and server needs
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas throughout service
• Support efficient food delivery and table turnover
• Assist with seating guests and maintaining dining room flow
• Ensure every takeout order is accurate, complete, and professionally packaged before leaving the restaurant
• Provide friendly, professional service to take-out guests and delivery drivers
• Represent Green Coyote Cantina with professionalism, energy, and genuine hospitality every shift

Schedule & Availability

Green Coyote Cantina is open daily from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM, serving lunch, dinner, and special events.

Applicants should have flexible availability, including:

• Lunch shifts
• Dinner shifts
• Weekday availability
• Weekend availability
• Holidays and special events
• Opening and closing responsibilities as scheduled
