Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Control Operations in Pembroke Pines, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and communicating professionally with residents, visitors, and staff. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and support a positive experience through attentive service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, manage guest access records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access-related activity, and unusual conditions accurately and report findings according to Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
