Job Summary:

Supports data gathering, analysis and reporting to document processes, identify operational gaps, and contribute to improvements that optimize business workflows and increase efficiency.

Job Description:

  • Analyzes business processes to identify documentation gaps and maintain an inventory for future improvement opportunities.

  • Collects and analyzes data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for business decisions.

  • Collaborates with analysts and teams to contribute to training packages and change management plans, ensuring effective adoption of new processes.

  • Performs validation of business processes and documentation by engaging subject matter experts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational needs.

  • Follows established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

  • Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.

  • Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.

Additional Job Description:

Education

  • Associate's degree in business administration or related field.

Experience

  • 1 to 3 years' experience with functional role responsibilities.

  • Experience using business systems or analytic platforms.

Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:

  • High School or equivalent (GED) when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing an analyst role.

Competencies (Skills)

  • Proficient skills in the use of computer applications (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.). 

  • Strong attention to detail as well as analytical and quantitative skills, such as statistics and data analysis. 

  • Ability to analyze customer experience data and evaluate processes to support the optimization of future state operations and the customer experience looking for opportunities to continually improve the business. 

  • Strong business analysis and documentation skills include problem definition, requirements definition, business process modeling and policy, process documentation, procedure documentation, and training material updates.  

  • Organizational, time management and project planning skills to work independently in a complex and dynamic environment. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through effective verbal and written communication to develop and maintain goal-oriented working relationships.

  • Strong facilitation skills to guide cross functional teams to a desired end-result. 

License/Certifications

  • Valid Driver’s License
