Role Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you will support the quality assurance and quality control of IBMS installations by reviewing workmanship, verifying compliance with drawings and specifications, and coordinating with project stakeholders to close observations efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards across site activities, inspections, and system checks.
Key Responsibilities

- Verify that execution at site aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project quality standards.
- Monitor installation workmanship and identify deviations, defects, or rework requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Support testing, inspection, and documentation activities during implementation and handover.
- Maintain accurate quality records, site reports, and follow-up actions.
- Track technical and operational issues through closure and support corrective actions.
- Ensure safety and compliance requirements are followed during site activities.
How You Will Do It
- Stay close to the site and verify work against drawings, specifications, and agreed quality standards.
- Own issues through to closure by documenting findings, coordinating corrective actions, and confirming that rework meets expectations.
- Work openly with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to remove obstacles and keep delivery moving.
- Use disciplined reporting and clear communication to surface risks early and improve quality every day.
- Apply a practical, detail-focused approach to inspections, system checks, and handover support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in IBMS project execution, quality checks, or site supervision.
- Hands-on experience with IBMS, CCTV, and ACS.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Understanding of safety, compliance, and site quality practices.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure or facility management projects.
