As a Security Officer Armed Transport in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government law-enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, while maintaining professional communication with law-enforcement personnel and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
