NIE invites applications for the position of Senior Executive/Executive in the Finance Department. The appointee will support day-to-day financial operations and service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
Process staff-related payments, invoices and related enquiries.
Compute liquidated damages for staff development schemes and prepare MOE funding claims.
Support accounting matters for donations, endowment funds, insurance and assigned fund accounts.
Review and improve finance processes with the Reporting Officer.
Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Head of Finance.
Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Polytechnic Diploma, preferably in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
Organised, meticulous, and comfortable working with numbers and financial records.
Positive team player with a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP experience is an advantage.
Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
