Salary: $16.38 - $21.68 Per Hour

*The 2026 season runs from August 03, 2026 to December 26, 2026.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: This temporary 26-week Acting Capacity Park Ranger position will assist in the preparation, placement, and maintenance of navigational aids on 40 water bodies throughout Maine. Daily activities require a basic mechanical understanding, ability to drive a truck with a boat trailer, and be able to spend long days on the road/water while servicing inland navigational aids on lakes/ponds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, training, and/or experience in park operations or maintenance, or another closely related field.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills/experience:

  • Knowledge of boating operations
  • Experience with trailer handling
