Description
- Assist in the preparation of all food items following set recipes.
- Ensure leftover food is stored and labeled properly following kitchen policies and procedures.
- Follow proper food handling in accordance with the company protocol.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring safe use of all equipment and materials.
- Clean and properly sanitize dinnerware, equipment, and kitchen area thoroughly.
- Proactive in following safety and accident reporting procedures.
- Other tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Over one year of experience with food preparation or food related services is required.
- Strong acumen to adhere to all food safety polices and procedures.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform some light physical labor, such as lifting and carrying kitchen supplies.
- Experience with proper knife handling, and the knowledge of temperature control of food productions is an asset.
- Positive attitude with the ability to communication clearly with staff and management.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
