GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for ensuring efficient administrative processes, accurate nursing data collection, and effective nurse recruitment. Coordinates and collaborates with healthcare providers, stakeholders, and educational institutions in conducting and facilitating nursing activities. Ensure smooth operations, regulatory compliance, and clinical standards are met to provide safe, high-quality patient care aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives and goals.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of nursing data to support decision-making and enhance the nurses ' ability to deliver safe and high-quality care to the client.
2.Prepare, update and report on nursing statistics, performance indicators, improvement activities, clinical best practices, and incident Incidents.
3.Plan, organize, and coordinate the nursing leaders’ meetings, nursing specialty unit meeting and other meetings related to nursing services to ensure effective communication and decision-making in accordance with organizational requirements and standards.
4.Coordinate and be involved in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures for Group Clinical Services.
5.Maintain and regularly update, including formatting nursing documentation (e.g. training manuals, policies & procedures, job descriptions, and credentialing records), within established timelines.
6. Collaborate with Human Resources in nursing recruitment planning and activities.
7.Actively participate in group and hospital clinical committees, contributing to strategic planning and policy development.
8.Contribute to the planning and execution of new projects initiated under the Group Clinical Services.
9.Execute nursing symposiums, seminars, workshops, training, and retreats organized by Group Clinical Services to promote professional development and knowledge sharing.
10.Engage with KPJ Education Hub and other private education institutions in recruitment drives to attract and retain qualified nursing personnel.
11.Participate in the credentialing and privileging processes to ensure that clinical staff meet required standards and qualifications.
12.Oversee equipment inventory and maintenance for Group Clinical Services to ensure operational efficiency.
13.Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, infection control programs, 5S activities, and fire safety programs to uphold high standards of safety and quality.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education:
- Diploma in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field
- Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage, or to be obtained within two (2) years of promotion
Knowledge and Experiences:
- Passionate fresh graduate. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations is an added advantage.
- Experience in data management, reporting, and performance monitoring within a healthcare environment
Special skills are required:
- Proficient in writing and conversing in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Caring, honest, and responsible workers and team players.
- Competent in data collection, analysis, and performance reporting
- Basic financial and resource management knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
