Corrections Education Teacher

The Northumberland Christian School is currently accepting applications for a full-time position in a corrections education residential youth treatment program located in Northumberland, PA. The Corrections Teacher will be responsible for daily instruction in the area of Health and Physical Education to secondary-grade level 7-12 students within the four Northumberland Christian School  on the grounds of NCSTU. Create a classroom environment that fosters, promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship of healthy body function and exercise. In addition, motivates each student to cultivate physical fitness, and appropriate social and emotional adjustment; assist in develops strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each student’s ability. Salary: $48,898 – 75,203 depending on credentials and experience.
