Overview
The Planner, Supply Chain, is responsible for creating weekly/monthly supply demand analysis/forecast for the assigned product portfolio categories to align with sales in all distribution channels to ensure service level. This position is also responsible for purchasing local items both; non-inventory and inventory items. This role collaborates with different areas such as Sourcing, regional Distribution and Logistics, Sales Centers, Regional Sales and Marketing and Corporate Supply Chain Planning.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
• Elaborate weekly/monthly supply demand analysis/forecast to ensure inventory levels that align with sales on our distribution channels.• Generate Purchase Order Requisitions for local purchases; non-inventory and inventory items.• Collaborate with Sourcing to identify local vendors, analyze vendor bid, vendor contracts and vendor selection.• Collaborate with internal and external providers to ensure on time production and inventory deliveries.• Responsible for monthly follow-up with local teams for disposition on low rotation/obsolete items such as promotional items, awards, apparel.• Coordinate with Distribution Centers, inventory moves, transfers and inventory assembly.• Generate and report department KPIs/metrics for meetings.• Assist as back up as needed.

Job Qualifications
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
• 1-3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing based environment in Planning, Purchasing, Distribution and Logistics.• Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions. Includes a strong working knowledge of massive data analysis.• Proficient in ERP/MRP/DRP systems and Microsoft office suite software (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, MS project, etc.). • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to perform and produce results in multifunctional teams in a dynamic work environment. • Knowledge of Demand, Planning, Purchasing, Distribution and Logistics.• Must possess good mathematical skills and meticulous with details.• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and lead various high-level projects• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.• Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are a plus.
