Overview
Responsible for Pharmacy duties, ensuring accuracy of medicine handling as well as an efficient workflow in providing patients with Pharmacy needs are of a consistently high priority.
Responsibilities
- Helps establish and implement cost effective, results based, and professionally managed programs and innovative initiatives for the Pharmacy area, under direct supervision.
- Practices analyzing and filling patients' prescriptions.
- Learns how to run tests on patients, take their blood pressure and administer flu shots.
- Measures the correct amount of medication and collects payment from customers.
- Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
- Understands and applies the organization's mission, vision, and core values of improving health and promoting well-being in day-to-day interactions with Pharmacy team.
Qualifications
Enrolled in Pharmacy program.
