Are you a recent Accounting graduate looking to build a successful career in public practice? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our team and gain hands-on experience within our Business Advisory division.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with experienced professionals, develop your technical skills, and gain exposure to a diverse client portfolio including companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Graduate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our client engagements while developing your knowledge of accounting, taxation, and compliance requirements.
- Preparation of yearend financial statements for various companies, trusts partnerships
- Preparation of workpapers and supporting documentation for client engagements.
- Compliance with regulatory standards and preparing reports in line with the Australian accounting and auditing standards;
- Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity statements (IAS)
About you:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
- Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:
Essential
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Desirable
- Previous work experience in Professional Services
