Job description

The Role

This is a full-time on-site role for an Embedded Software Engineer located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain embedded systems and applications.

  • Analyze requirements, perform architecture design, detailed design, implementation, unit test, integration test and qualification test for Embedded Software and HW Drivers.
  • Develop, integrate and maintain device drivers and low-level software components on Embedded Linux and/or Zephyr RTOS platforms.
  • Design and implement OS abstraction layers (OSAL) and support software portability across different operating systems.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Your Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Systems or Linux Embedded Systems.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ for HW Drivers, Linux Kernel, Embedded Software, Compiler, Bash/Shell Script and Makefile.
  • Experience with Embedded Linux Driver/Kernel/UBOOT development.
  • Experience with device driver development and low-level software programming.
  • Experience with Zephyr RTOS and OSAL (Operating System Abstraction Layer).
  • Experience with Renesas FSP (Flexible Software Package) for RA/RX/RZ platforms is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Hardware Manuals, Schematics and Datasheets.
  • Experience with any AUTOSAR Classic Platform module (MCAL, BSW, ASW, BLE).
  • Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, FlexRay and Ethernet.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR Configuration Tools (e.g. DaVinci, ECU Spectrum).
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with emulators, simulators, debugging and test equipment.
  • Experience with multi-tasking and multi-thread programming is a plus.
  • Good teamwork, communication and self-management skills.
  • English proficiency in reading and writing.
