We are seeking a detail-oriented Banking Analyst at Bayan Lepas, Penang to join our Finance team and support banking operations, reconciliations, and financial controls while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Team Leader in the day-to-day execution of banking operations and related activities.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of assigned banking and financial tasks.
- Prepare and perform reconciliations, data matching, and investigations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Support month-end activities and provide accurate banking data for financial reporting when required.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and operational support to the Senior Leadership Group as assigned.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders to support business objectives and deliver high-quality service.
- Ensure compliance with Toll Group and Global Business Services (GBS) policies, processes, financial controls, and governance requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in Banking Operations, Finance, Reconciliations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, financial controls, and data analysis.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
