Provides clerical support, unputting data, answering telephones, filing, distributing mail, and assisting patients, relatives, and visitors.

Job Description:

EDUCATION

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• HS Diploma or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. or equivalent education/experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Able to input data into computer with speed and accuracy.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanc e instructions , and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to present information to patients, patient families and employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay Range is $33.28 to $39.75 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
