About the Role & Team

The Senior Executive Search Consultant will serve as an integral member of our Executive Search Center of Excellence (ESCOE) team, combining deep market knowledge with consultative and advocacy skills for the recruitment of VP+ Technology Executive talent across a diverse set of technology disciplines.

What You Will Do

Day to day activities will entail project management, strategic execution plans and partner/stakeholder management to achieve a best-in-class service delivery model.

Each talent strategy will consist of:
•Talent strategy sessions and search development
•Functional and talent market observations
•Attraction, marketing, sourcing & networking strategies
•Talent identification, assessment, and candidate engagement
•Leading and advising business stakeholders through data-driven storytelling

In partnership with executive stakeholders, cultivating relationships with high potential sources and prospects, constructing target lists of top executives, and executive leadership assessment capabilities will be instrumental. High levels of consultancy, influence, and data driven storytelling are a must.

Responsibilities
•Strategy and Execution: Deploy executive search strategies that mirrors the rigor and consultative approach of a top tier executive search firm, including a deep understanding of Disney’s business and the Technology talent market landscape. This includes proactive and consultative partnership to the business, providing insights and recommendations about executive talent, regardless of a specific search need.
•Candidate Pipeline and Evaluation: Develop a robust pipeline of qualified senior technical talent and nurture relationships proactively with prospective talent. Make strategic introductions to stakeholders in advance of specific search needs.
•Project Management: Project manage executive searches through the development and execution of recruitment plans; ensuring the candidate, client, team, and stakeholder experiences are met with exceptional service delivery.
•Market Analysis: Develop, manage, and leverage a broad professional network, deep understanding of the respective Technology functions. Remain current on market trends, innovative sourcing & recruitment practices, and talent insights for generating rapid, effective results aligned to business priorities.
•Collaboration: Partner closely with People & Culture business partners, compensation, executive sourcing, Talent Market Intelligence and other partners/stakeholders to create excellent search outcomes and experiences for the candidates, hiring leaders, and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills
•8+ years recruiting experience, preferably with a mix of retained search firm and executive recruiter experience inside a corporate environment.
•Ability to influence senior stakeholders leveraging data and market insights to increase mutual awareness of Disney’s position in the market and how to be most effective and competitive at attracting senior technical talent.
•Proven track record of successfully filling critical technology leadership positions at the Executive level. Additionally, a deep understanding, and passion for, the technology landscape and keen awareness of emerging trends.
•Proven track record managing executive relationships and ability to collaborate and build relationships with key stakeholders across functional and various geographical locations
•Executive talent search management including expertise in negotiation, advising, and influencing
•Experience in working in a consultative role where outstanding communication and presentation skills are required with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and aggressive deadlines
•A strong sense of business acumen with the ability to understand & interpret complex business needs, compensation and business structures
•Strong storytelling, facilitation, and influencing skills
•A natural curiosity, creativity, and executive presence with a drive to succeed
•A broad understanding, and demonstrated ability to get up to speed on key areas of technology, including Software Engineering, Product Development and Management, Data engineering, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
•Experience leveraging a CRM or ATS
•Advanced level of proficiency using LinkedIn / LinkedIn Recruiter and emerging
technologies such as Copilot or Claude.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $152,800 - $186,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered
