Job Description

As a Security Officer - Highrise Corporate Building Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns and/or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points, observe site activity, and document daily events, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, answering questions, and supporting a professional environment while helping to deter unauthorized activity through visible patrol presence and attentive observation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
