## What you’ll do:
In this role you will be a partner to the Vodafone SOHO & SME business divisions in relation to the Enterprise SME & SOHO Mobile Business, covering Mobile Voice, Mobile broadband, B2B & B2C Wholesale services. You will be responsible for supporting & driving Commercial Performance & Strategic decision making, including the target setting process, while supporting them with Financial insights and advice.
You will work as part of the Enterprise Finance Business Partner team reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Business Partnering. You will work closely with the Enterprise Leadership Team, Commercial Enterprise Team and across the Enterprise Business. You will also work closely with teams across Finance, including Financial Reporting, Commercial Analysis and Planning team and the Business Insights and Analytics Team.
## Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:
End to end responsibility for SOHO & SME Mobile Financials
Ownership of Enterprise Mobile P&L
Monthly review of performance with explanation of variances and trends
Review with commercial business units to understand performance issues
Responsible for overseeing both financial and non-financial numbers and KPIs in relation to Fixed performance
Business Partnering
First point of contact for Enterprise Head of Commercial Lead & Head of SMB Sales, Mobile Commercial Lead and individual SOHO & SME P&L Managers
Proactively provide commercial insights to Enterprise Director, Head of Commercial, Segment & product Leads, CFO & Finance Leadership Teams for effective decision making
Support & shape Enterprise Mobile Strategy, and drive Strategy Execution across Enterprise, Finance & the business as a whole.
Finance Owner for all Product & Service (P&S) pricing & promotions across Mobile
Planning and Forecasting
Responsible for coordinating relevant Planning & Forecasting activities to drive business performance, mitigate risks, exploit opportunities & ensure we are on track to our medium & long term strategy.
Prepare revenue and margin Annual budgets
Build Long-Range plan financials in line with our Strategy & linked to our Budget ambitions
Full Exec engagement and support to segment, Enterprise Director, Head of Enterprise Marketing, CFO & Head of FP&A through review cycle
Drive Mobile Profitability
Support & Drive the business in delivery of Mobile margin
Co-ordinate and drive Enterprise Commercial Committee & governance
Embed Customer profitability tools such as IBRO ensure steer optimal customer growth
Proactively drive & manage business on key pillars of profitability; such as Pricing, Credits & Discounts, Acquisition & Retention investment etc through relevant insights, driving action, working cross functionally, monthly business reviews & communication to senior leadership team (Enterprise Director, CFO etc)
Adhoc deep dive & reforecasting on direct cost or revenue lines as required to get insights & drive actions
Transparent assessment of financial consequences of decisions & support trade off decisions
Ensure Budget is linked to operational targets which are consistent across the business
Developing Data and Insights to drive Financial Integrity and Business Performance
Ensure all business/commercial decision making and forecasting is data driven.
Overall responsibility for ensuring relevant, accurate, complete and timely data & insights for monthly revenue/margin assurance, performance and forecasting.
Review and understand existing monthly standard insights with the Commercial Analysis &Planning team
## Who you are:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 5+ years PQE
- Previous Business Partnering Experience essential (3+ years) including Commercial Business Partnering experience (2+ Years)
- Planning, forecasting and budgeting experience
- Previous financial modelling experience
- Excellent PC skills with proficiency in Excel front ends
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Ability to understand issues at both operational and strategic levels and to influence stakeholders to action
Desirable
- Understanding of telecoms market and revenue drivers
- Data savvy, experience in defining financial dashboards and data visualization insights
