The Role

Bond Beacon is Fidelity’s award-winning proprietary Fixed Income trading platform.  As a Support Associate on Fidelity Capital Market’s Fixed Income Sales team, you will support Custody and Clearing clients’ use of Bond Beacon.  You will act as a Bond Beacon subject matter expert resolving trade issues and identifying areas for improvement. 

• Advocating for FCM clients in conjunction with Bond Beacon Product and Technology teams to identify and develop improvements to the trading platform.
• Act as FCM customer’s main point of contact for facilitating cancels, corrections, trade breaks and order status with Bond Beacon contra parties
• Source street inventory based on client need and execute fixed income trades on their behalf, assuring that appropriate compliance checks and reporting configuration aligns with client’s needs. 
• Familiarize clients with the features, functions, and trading capabilities of Bond Beacon

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Series 7 and 63 preferred (if not currently registered, such exams must be successfully passed within six months of hire)
• 3-5 years of brokerage industry experience, preferably in Fixed Income trading or back-office operations

• A demonstrated ability to multi-task and assist multiple distribution channels in a fast-paced trading floor environment
• Capacity for effective client communication - phone and electronic 
• A proactive and analytical mindset, working collaboratively with sales team and clients.
• Comfort and proficiency with technology

The Team

The Bond Beacon Client Support group collaborates with the Beacon Product team, FCM Trading & Operations & ECN counterparties to support client use of the Bond Beacon platform, providing trading and organizational support in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$153,000 per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
