What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive, you will build and grow your own book of business through outbound sales, relationship development, and consistent pipeline execution.
This is a high-activity, high-reward role where success is driven by effort, consistency, communication, and the ability to build trust with customers and strategic partners.
You’ll work directly with customers, carriers, and internal teams to manage opportunities from initial conversation through successful delivery while providing the responsiveness and problem-solving that sets CURA apart.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and close new business through high-volume outbound sales activity
- Build and manage long-term relationships with customers and business partners
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CURA’s CRM tools
- Secure new accounts and identify opportunities to expand existing relationships
- Quote and negotiate rates with customers and strategic partners
- Identify reputable strategic partners using company tools
- Coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery to ensure smooth execution
- Communicate proactively with customers and partners to provide visibility and timely updates
- Identify potential issues quickly and implement effective solutions
- Follow up consistently with customers and business partners
- Enter and maintain accurate information in the CRM in real time
- Conduct daily outreach through phone, email, and text to generate new opportunities
- Work cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support customer needs and growth
- Contribute to building a high-performing sales culture within the new Columbia office
What We’re Looking For
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, phone sales, admissions, career services, or another high-volume relationship-building environment
- Experience with outbound calling, prospecting, or business development
- Experience building a pipeline and developing relationships
- Familiarity with a performance- or metrics-driven environment
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

- $45,000 base salary during training and ramp period
