Summary:
As a Data Engineer, your typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. You will be responsible for creating efficient data pipelines that facilitate smooth data flow and ensure the highest standards of data quality. Your role includes implementing extract, transform, and load processes to migrate and deploy data seamlessly across various systems, enabling reliable and scalable data infrastructure to support organizational needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and troubleshoot issues is an integral part of your daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines to ensure performance and reliability.
- Document data processes and workflows to maintain clarity and support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Athena, PySpark.
- Strong experience in designing and managing scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data quality and pipeline issues effectively.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization in large datasets.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Amazon Athena.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
