We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic B to work onsite at our Winston Salem, NC facility for set up, repair and maintenance of Company equipment, building and grounds.

Work schedule is: Monday - Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

What You Must Do

• Work from blueprints, schematics, written or verbal instructions and use assorted measuring instruments and/or technical equipment.
• Make ordinary tools and fixtures as required
• Move materials, parts, and tools as required
• Assist and/or perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, and masonry on equipment, building fixtures, perimeter, and road or walkways.
• Assist and/or perform installation and maintenance of wiring and conduit, and test circuits for continuity
• Work with periodic technical direction.
• Perform all other related duties, and report all difficulties to immediate supervisors
• Drive Company vehicles when necessary and keep Company vehicle properly serviced

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report all discrepancies to management

• Able to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds

• Other duties as assigned.

 

Typical Tools and Equipment Used

• Including, but not limited to, voltage testers, voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, trucks, cranes, hoists, hand tools, welding equipment, and other similar equipment and tools.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites.

• Experience in a maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics for repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of electronic and electrical systems as it relates to repair and maintenance work.
