Description
At Intrum, you will grow by making a difference. You will do it in a highly international environment and in a supportive culture where effort counts.
Are you our new:
- Strategy & Transformation Lead
About Intrum
Intrum is a market-leading credit management company operating in 20 European countries with 10,000+ colleagues. We help people resolve debt and enable companies to get paid so they can grow—bringing meaning to every role at Intrum.
The Role
As a Strategy & Transformation Lead, you will operate at the intersection of strategy, analysis, execution, and change. This means structuring complex business problems, developing qualitative and quantitative insights, preparing decision material and business cases, and supporting senior leaders in making well-founded prioritization and investment decisions.
You will drive some of Intrum Sweden’s most important cross-functional transformation initiatives from idea to value realization. Acting as the end-to-end owner of strategic initiatives and Portfolio Epics, you will shape direction, align business and delivery stakeholders, coordinate execution, and ensure that initiatives translate into measurable business outcomes.
In addition to driving strategic initiatives, you will play an important role in improving how the organization works. You will analyze operational processes, governance structures, delivery practices, quality standards, and collaboration models to identify inefficiencies, improvement opportunities, and value potential. You will help translate these insights into concrete initiatives that improve performance, simplify ways of working, and support sustainable adoption of Lean/Agile practices across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic transformation initiatives:
- Own and drive complex cross-functional initiatives (Portfolio Epics) from idea to implementation and value realization.
- Structure ambiguous business challenges into clear scope, objectives, milestones, dependencies, risks, success measures, and expected business value.
- Align strategic priorities, business needs, delivery capacity, and execution plans across business, Product, Technology, and delivery stakeholders.
- Develop qualitative and quantitative analysis, business cases, and executive decision material to support prioritization and investment decisions.
Drive delivery excellence, internal change, and adoption:
- Identify and drive Operational Excellence opportunities by analyzing processes, handovers, governance structures, and ways of working to improve efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.
- Lead change management activities required to embed new solutions, quality standards, and ways of working.
- Support leaders and teams through organizational, process, and operating model changes.
- Drive improvements to portfolio management, decision forums, delivery disciplines, and Lean/Agile ways of working.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional transformation initiatives and strategic programs from concept to implementation and value realization.
- Experience from management consulting or an equivalent internal strategy/transformation role, with a strong foundation in structured problem solving, stakeholder management, and executive communication.
- Experience from Operational Excellence or process improvement initiatives, with the ability to analyze operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and translate findings into practical improvement actions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience structuring ambiguous business challenges, developing hypotheses, assessing options, and translating insights into recommendations.
- Good understanding of Lean/Agile ways of working, with experience supporting adoption or improvement of Agile delivery practices in a business or technology environment.
- Excellent facilitation, planning, and coordination skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage dependencies, and drive progress across business, product, technology, and delivery stakeholders.
Who You Are
You are a structured and impact-oriented transformation professional who thrives in complex environments. You are equally comfortable structuring complex strategic questions, developing fact-based recommendations, and driving execution and change across teams.
You are motivated by taking analysis beyond recommendations into real implementation, adoption, and measurable business impact. You combine strong analytical skills with excellent stakeholder management capabilities and can create alignment across senior leaders.
You are curious about how organizations work and enjoy improving governance, collaboration, quality standards, and ways of working. Most importantly, you take ownership, create momentum, challenge constructively, and ensure that initiatives move from discussion to decision, delivery, and sustainable adoption.
Introduction to Transformation Management Office
The Transformation Management Office acts as Intrum Sweden’s internal strategy and transformation engine by connecting strategic priorities with execution, governance, and measurable value creation.

Joining the TMO means becoming part of a small, high-impact team with direct exposure to senior decision-making and a mandate to influence both what the organization chooses to do and how successfully change is delivered.
Location & Ways of Working
This role is based at our Stockholm office in Sickla. We apply a hybrid working model, with three days per week at the office and two days where you are free to choose where you work best. Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously.
