- Complete classroom training, on the job training and demonstrate proficiencies to operate independently in the Crew Hotel & Transportation Scheduler position
- Create, analyze and process hotel and transportation needs, provide accurate and timely notification to Crew Members for hotel assignments using a multi-line phone system, and operate a computer with multiple software programs/monitors
- Escalate complex issues, service disruptions, and vendor performance concerns to appropriate leadership or senior team members
- Support irregular operations (IROPs) by assisting with crew accommodations and transportation solutions during operational disruptions
- Assist in managing vendor relationships to support the delivery of crew hotel and transportation services
- Ensure hotel and transportation reservations are secured in a timely manner for Crew Members following any changes to their schedule
- Act as a liaison between Flight Attendants, Pilots, and overall Crew Operations (Inflight and Flight Operations and the NOC) to mitigate lodging and transportation challenges
- Develop proficiency in Crew Hotel & Transportation systems, policies, procedures, and operational workflows through training and hands-on operational experience
- Support Flight Attendant & Pilot Crew Scheduling daily operations, staffing needs, and operational disruptions when needed
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
- Ability to learn, retain, and apply Company and departmental policies and procedures, including Crew work rules and applicable Federal Regulations
- Ability to effectively utilize all applications and technology platforms used to support Crew Hotel & Transportation Scheduling functions
- Skilled in critical thinking with the ability to exercise good judgement to make decisions and resolve complex tasks efficiently in a timely manner
- Skilled in prioritizing and performing concurrent tasks to maintain focus on critical details work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Ability to independently work under tight time constraints and in high stress situations to accomplish assignments
- Ability to effectively communicate by email, telephone, and in person; skilled in handling demanding/difficult Customers
- Ability to identify operational issues, process inconsistencies, and technology challenges and appropriately escalate concerns
- Ability to balance customer service needs with established operational procedures and business requirements
- Ability to receive, apply, and incorporate coaching and feedback to enhance job performance and development
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Entry-level experience, developing skills and knowledge in:
- Customer Service
- Microsoft Office products
- Operational support, hospitality, transportation, logistics, or call center environments
- Multi-tasking in fast-paced environments with changing priorities

- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

- Must be able to work various shifts, including morning, evening and midnight shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime and extended shifts when needed
Pay & Benefits
Competitive market salary from $60,650.00 per year to $67,400.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
