Located in the heart of the city, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Shanghai – The Making of Harry Potter is an indoor attraction designed to transport visitors into the world of filmmaking, revealing production secrets through interactive experiences, showcasing stunning sets, and displaying beautifully crafted props.
This new attraction will deliver the Studio Tour values of exceptional customer service, experiences that exceed visitors’ expectations, and the very best in Harry Potter retail.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Shanghai will be operated in partnership with Jinjiang International (Holdings) Co., Ltd., a State-Owned Enterprise, ensuring a world-class experience for all who visit.
Your New Role
The Senior/Talent Acquisition Manager will lead the recruitment team to deliver a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy and solution for Warner Bros. Studio Tour Shanghai (WBSTS), develop effective recruitment channels, manage the end-to-end recruitment processes and ensure the on-schedule onboarding of all talents required for WBSTS's grand opening and ongoing business development.
Your Role Accountabilities
Develop and execute tiered, function-aligned recruitment strategies to fulfill hiring demands across all job levels and departments at WBSTS. The scope of these strategies spans targeted recruitment channel deployment, employer branding campaigns, RPO supplier onboarding and full-lifecycle recruitment process, to guarantee the on-schedule onboarding of all required critical talents and fully support WBSTS’s successful grand opening and sustained post-launch business growth.
Partner closely with the P&C Director to co-develop the company’s recruitment roadmap and detailed budget framework taking end-to-end ownership to drive the effective, on-schedule implementation of all planned initiatives.
Conduct structured job requirement alignment sessions with the hiring managers to finalize job descriptions, and gain full, in-depth clarity on core business priorities, targeted talent sourcing benchmarks and consistent candidate evaluation criteria.
Lead and manage the entire end-to-end recruitment cycle with exceptional efficiency and quality, covering full-cycle talent sourcing, multi-stage candidate screening, competency-based assessment, compliant background verification and competitive offer condition negotiation with a strong focus on elevating the candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
Campus relationship building with target institutions & intern recruitment.
Build up and keep the pool of seasonal workers to cover the staffing gaps in peak periods.
Continuously expand and refine the full recruitment channel ecosystem, including but not limited to mainstream premium online hiring platforms, incentivized employee referral programs, WeChat recruitment accounts, targeted campus recruitment and other high-performing pipelines, to drive measurable improvements in overall recruitment efficiency.
Design, track and report on core recruitment KPIs to systematically evaluate the performance and effectiveness of all hiring operations, and build and maintain a centralized, dynamically updated candidate database. Seek opportunities to continuously improve the processes and candidate and line manager experience based on data and feedback.
Build, segment and maintain a categorized external talent pool, to proactively secure sufficient high-potential talent reserves for WBSTS’s medium and long-term business expansion plans.
Develop, validate and deploy standardized, effective talent assessment tools, to guide data-driven hiring decisions and continuously improve the overall accuracy of talent selection.
Share data-backed market and talent landscape insights with business teams, and deliver actionable, business-aligned recommendations to support their talent planning decisions.
Undertake other ad-hoc job responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant disciplines.
Minimum 8 years of working experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years of proven experience in an equivalent management role. Prior working experience in cultural tourism, FMCG, retail, hospitality or related service industries is highly preferred.
Demonstrated track record in developing frontline staff recruitment channels and delivering large-scale mass hiring for service teams, with proven pre-opening project experience being a strong plus.
Hands-on campus recruitment experience and established existing partnerships with local higher education institutions.
Strong multi-tasking capability, proven resilience under tight deadlines, quick response mindset and ability to consistently deliver high-quality work efficiently.
Exceptional communication skills and cross-functional influence, with a strong results-oriented work ethic.
Solid capabilities in data collection, sorting, analysis, consolidation and structured business reporting.
Fluent in oral and written English is required.
Working Pattern and Duty Management
This is a full-time, on site role requiring flexibility in working hours to meet business needs.

Please note that this position is employed through Warner Bros. Discovery’s joint venture with Jin Jiang International (Holdings) Co., Ltd. The joint venture entity is Shanghai WB Jinjiang Studio Tour Co., Ltd. Successful candidates will be hired by the joint venture company and assigned to work with Warner Bros. Discovery as required for this project.
