Assistant Manager - Research and Consulting (India)

Qualification:

• Postgraduate degree (Master's or MBA) in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 4-6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior experience in international property consultancies and/or Big 4 firms (EY, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC) and/or top-tier strategy consultancies (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) and/or management consulting firms with real estate focus will be a strong advantage.

 

Role/ Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership & Execution - Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality consulting and valuation assignments across India, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
• Research & Analysis - Conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis using client data, market intelligence, and external research sources. Projects include real estate investment analysis, market research, industry overviews, development feasibility studies, portfolio strategy, and site selection.
• Data Analytics & Reporting - Design and develop interactive dashboards and analytical reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for clients and stakeholders.
• Field Research & Financial Modeling - Conduct independent primary and secondary research, build robust financial models, and prepare draft reports for inclusion in client deliverables.
• Market Intelligence - Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, regulatory changes, and best practices across the commercial real estate sector.
• Process Improvement - Contribute to team efficiency through knowledge management initiatives, process optimization, and support for business development activities.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement - Provide responsive support to JLL team leads and clients as needed.
• Proposal Development - Support the preparation of compelling proposals and responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP).
• Participate in periodic business review calls with senior leadership and workshop sessions to advance analytics solutions.

• Financial & Negotiation Skills Proven financial modeling expertise, negotiation capabilities, and adaptability to changing client requirements and market conditions.
• Collaboration & Leadership Self-starter with a confident, collaborative approach. Provides informal guidance to team members, works effectively in cross-functional teams, and demonstrates strong multitasking abilities.
• Quality & Impact Consistently delivers high-quality work that impacts both individual and team outcomes. Demonstrates creativity, innovation, and solution-oriented thinking in all deliverables.
• Technical Skills Proficiency in database management, tracking systems, and analytics platforms. Ability to learn new tools and methodologies quickly.
