Description
## The group you’ll be a part of
The Business Development and Sales Operations (BDSO) organization connects Lam’s commercial strategy, customer commitments, product priorities, and execution discipline across the business. This role supports a cross-functional pricing initiative focused on configuration-to-price integrity across configurable products, options, and customer-specific requirements.
## The impact you’ll make
In this role, you will help ensure product configurations, option changes, and customer-specific requirements are accurately reflected in Lam’s pricing and commercial processes.
You will use data analysis, audit support, and issue tracking to identify configuration-to-price gaps, summarize business impact, and help drive corrective action.
## What you’ll do
- Analyze configuration, pricing, and source data to identify mismatches, inconsistencies, and potential revenue-impacting issues.
- Measure configuration-to-price drift across configurable products, options, new slot requests, and configuration change requests.
- Validate that equipment configuration changes are reflected in applicable pricing records and flag gaps when pricing is missing, outdated, or inconsistent.
- Maintain target price records by customer tool and configuration, along with repeat-buy tracking in the appropriate system of record.
- Support commercial deal audits by analyzing configuration mismatches, summarizing findings, and quantifying pricing, revenue, margin, or governance impact.
- Document required content changes on a tool-by-tool basis to support implementation, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Track open issues through closure and escalate unresolved or high-impact items when needed.
## Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in business operations, pricing operations, configuration management, sales operations, or related analytical functions.
- Strong data mining and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify discrepancies, quantify business impact, and summarize findings clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to independently investigate issues, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate cross-functional resolution, and drive actions through closure.
- Ability to translate complex data findings into clear business summaries, recommendations, and decision-ready updates for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities through closure.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerPoint, SAP, ERP systems, BI tools, or enterprise applications.
## Preferred qualifications
- Experience in the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
- Familiarity with configurable product structures, option architecture, commercial pricing processes, or quote/order workflows.
- Experience supporting configuration governance, pricing validation, commercial deal audits, or content change documentation.
