Position Summary: Provides expertise in the most current principles and practices of architecture data management systems and experience in large system designs. Leads the development and implementation of a Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) roadmap for cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments, ensuring alignment with government, or organizational standards like NIST SP 800-207. Acts as the chief architect in major IT implementation efforts, providing technical guidance, mentoring junior staff, and demonstrating excellence in written and verbal communication.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Education: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
General Experience: At least ten (10) years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
Specialized Experience:
- At least seven (7) years of the required experience must be in the direct design and implementation of enterprise-level cybersecurity architectures.
- Must have demonstrated experience leading the architectural design of major IT security projects, with deep expertise in Zero Trust principles, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and NIST frameworks (e.g., Cybersecurity Framework, SP 800-53).
