  • Develops relationships with local businesses, schools, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and other potential partners.
  • Identifies opportunities for community partnerships, membership growth, program growth, sponsorships, and YMCA outreach.
  • Works closely with the Association's marketing team to promote the Kennedale YMCA, programs, events, membership opportunities, and community impact.
  • Assists with the development and management of the center's operating budget and works to achieve membership, program, and financial goals.
  • Ensures YMCA policies, procedures, safety standards, and abuse prevention practices are consistently followed.
  • Monitors facility needs, supplies, equipment, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation of the center.
  • Serves as the primary on-site leader for the Kennedale YMCA and responds appropriately to member concerns, staff issues, facility needs, and emergencies.
  • Participates as a member of the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA leadership team and supports Association-wide initiatives and events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience required; experience leading teams in a recreation, fitness, wellness, hospitality, nonprofit, membership, or community-based setting is preferred.
  • A background in fitness, recreation, wellness, sports, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, supervise, motivate, and develop employees.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
