We have a fantastic opportunity for Claims Handler in Glasgow
Are you experienced in claims handling, the construction industry, or customer service? We have an excellent opportunity for you!
You will oversee a repair-based portfolio, managing the repair progress on our in-house claims system. Your responsibilities will include setting up and updating records, proactively managing repair timelines, and ensuring timely completion of repairs with exceptional customer service. Familiarity with schedules of work is a plus. You will liaise with customers, contractors, and clients, ensuring smooth communication and efficient repair processes.
Whether working from home or in our bright, collaborative office, you'll be part of a supportive team. We offer comprehensive training to develop your skills, and the chance to earn a prestigious industry qualification (Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA).

The skills you will have when you apply:
Experience in a customer service office environment, not necessarily claims handling(?)
Excellent communication skills: You'll speak with and write to policyholders, insurers, contractors, and more. You’ll explain complex details clearly, and negotiate fair settlements for all.
Prioritisation: Ability to prioritise your workload and identify urgent tasks
A commitment to work towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters` Cert CILA qualification
