Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Apprentice Electricians for projects located in or around Omaha, NE. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Assist with electrical installations in residential apartment buildings
- Pull and run electrical wire and cable
- Assist with panel installations, wiring, and terminations
- Install and connect electrical devices, fixtures, outlets, switches, and related components
- Read and follow electrical plans, blueprints, and job specifications
- Measure, cut, and prepare wire and electrical materials
- Assist journeymen electricians with rough-in and finish electrical work
- Perform material handling and keep the jobsite organized
- Use hand and power tools safely and properly
- Follow all OSHA, company, and jobsite safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Perform other electrical apprentice duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous residential electrical experience preferred
- Ability to pull wire and assist with panel work
- Basic knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and installation methods
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must be able to commit to the project for the long term
- Ability to lift and move electrical materials as needed
- OSHA 10 or other safety training is a plus
